PUBLIC HEARINGS
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT A REAL PROPERTY
ACQUISITIONS AND DISPOSITIONS PUBLIC HEARING, in accordance with Section 824 of the New York City Charter, will be held on June 24th , 2020, at 10:00 A.M. via Conference Call No. 1-646-9922010, Access Code 717-876-299.
IN THE MATTER OF an amendment of the lease for the City of New York, as tenant, of space on the 1st, 3rd, 4th, and 5th floors of the building, located at 30-30 Thomson Avenue Block 277, Lot 1 in the Borough of Queens for the Department of Design and Construction to use as offices, or for such other use as the Commissioner of the Department of Citywide Administrative Services may determine.
The total cost of the final architectural plans and engineering plans for the Tenant Work and the Tenant Work has increased and shall not exceed $6,198,830 of which the Landlord shall contribute $4,570,000
and the balance up to $1,628,830 will be paid by the Tenant. The Tenant shall reimburse the Landlord for Tenants share of the costs, to be disbursed up to $823,922.88 within 60 days of executing the amendment, if practicable, and any remaining balance upon the substantial completion of the alterations and improvements.

IN THE MATTER OF a renewal of the lease for the City of New York, as Tenant, of space on the 3rd floor of the building, located at 40-14 1st Avenue Block 706, Lot 1 in the Borough of Brooklyn to be used for files and records storage, or for such other similar purposes as the Commissioner of the Department of Citywide Administrative Services may determine. The space was initially used by the New York City Department of Finance under the original lease. The New York City Department of Records and Information Services is the designated user of the space during the renewal term.
The proposed lease renewal shall be for a period from amendment execution until the earlier of March 31, 2021 or 6 months from substantial completion of New York City Department of Records and Information Services new space within the building, pursuant to a lease between the Tenant and Landlord dated June 12, 2018.
