DMS REG. 1 BASIC RULES OF THE
DEFENSE MATERIALS SYSTEM
This amended regulation is found nec essary and appropriate to promote the national defense and is issued pursuant to the Defense Production Act of 1950, as amended. In the formulation of this amended regulation, there has been con sultation with industry representatives, including trade association representa tives, and consideration has been given to their recommendations. However, con sultation with representatives of all in dustries affected in advance of the issuance of this amended regulation has been rendered impracticable because it affects many different industries.
