Modification of Federal Airway and Associated Control Areas Thé purpose of these amendments to 609.6076 and 601.6076 of the regula tions of the Administrator is to modify the segment of VOR Federal airway No.
76 which extends from Austin, Tex., VOR to Llano, Tex., VOR by designat ing a south alternate between the two terminals.
The designation of a south alternate to Victor 76 via the Austin VOR 257
and the Llano VO R 129 radiais will expedite climbing westbound departure traffic from Austin and provide lateral separation from traffic operating on Vic tor 76 between Austin and Llano.
This action has been coordinated with the Army, the Navy, the A ir Force, and interested civil aviation organizations.
Accordingly, compliance with the Notice, and public procedures provisions of sec tion 4 of the Administrative Procedure Act is unnecessary. However, since it is necessary that sufficient time be allowed to permit appropriate changes to be made on aeronautical charts, these
