Alaska By virtue o f and pursuant to the authority vested in me by the act of June 4, 1897, 30 Stat. 11, 36 U . S. C., title 16, sec. 473, and upon the recommendation of the Secretary of Agriculture, it is ordered that the following-described tracts of land in Alaska, occupied as homesites and identified by elimination surveys, plats and field notes of which are on file in the General Land Office, Washington, D. C., be, and they are hereby, excluded from the Tongass National Forest and restored to entry under the applicable public-land laws:
Homesite No. 15, Prince o f W ales Island, East shore of Salt Chuck, Kasaan Bay, 4.78 acres; approximate latitude 5537 N., longitude 13232 W .;

AMENDING REGULATION 2, SECTION 3, PARAGRAPH 1, RECOGNIZING
BREEDS AND BOOKS OF RECORD ACROSS THE SEAS
Effective on and after May 14,1937
Regulation 2, section 3, paragraph 1, o f the regulatiorjs governing the recognition o f breeds and purebred animals, effective under date o f July 1, 1935, and identified as B. A. I.
Order 350, is hereby amended so as to include and recognize for the purposes enumerated thereunder the follow ing breed and book of record:

In conform ity with the provisions of the Act of February 28, 1925 43 Stat. 1090, I, Henry A. W allace, Secretary of Agriculture, do hereby establish the follow ing regulations to govern ingress and egress and the use of the surface in the extraction of minerals, oil, gas and other inorganic resources, from lands acquired by the United States through exchange ujider authority of the Act of March 20, 1922 42 Stat. 465, and acts amendatory thereof authorizing the acquisition, by exchange, of lands chiefly valuable fo r National Forest pur poses, within the boundaries of National Forests or o f specifi cally defined areas adjacent thereto, in cases where the right to extract such mineral resources is to be reserved by the vendor by stipulation to be expressed in and made a part of the deed of conveyance to the United States.
W hoever begins such operations must, on demand, ex hibit to the Forest Officer in charge satisfactory evidence of authority from the grantor so to do, and must comply with the follow ing requirements:
1.
Only so much of the surface of the land shall be used or disturbed as is necessary in the bona fide prospecting, mining, drilling, or manufacturing of the minerals; but no right to so occupy, use, or disturb such land shall be recog nized unless the recorded owner of the reserved m ineral rights, or his legally authorized representative, shall have applied fo r and received from the Forest Supervisor a per m it authorizing such use or occupancy, fo r which perm it advance payment shall be made annually at the rate o f $6
per acre or fraction thereof.
A ll buildings, camps, equipment, and other structures shall be removed from the land within one year from date o f com pletion or abandonment of the operation, which shall be construed as being the date when payment of the permit charges fo r the land terminates. Otherwise such buildings, camps, equipment, and other structures shall become the property o f the United States.
