NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT A REAL PROPERTY
ACQUISITIONS AND DISPOSITIONS PUBLIC HEARING, in accordance with Section 824 of the New York City Charter, will be held, on August 12th, 2020, at 10:00 A.M., via Conference Call No. 1-646992-2010, Access Code 717-876-299.
IN THE MATTER OF a renewal of the lease for the City of New York, as tenant, for the entire building, located at 671 Prospect Place Block 1224, Lot 45, in the Borough of Brooklyn for the Early Childhood Education program of the Department of Education to use as a Daycare Center, or for such other use as the Commissioner of the Department of Citywide Administrative Services may determine, in accordance with the terms of the lease.
The proposed renewal of the lease shall be for a period from May 1, 2019 to July 31, 2025, at an annual rent of $1,500,000 from May 1, 2019 to July 31, 2024, and $2,000,000 from August 1, 2024 to July 31, 2025, payable in equal monthly installments, at the end of each month.
Additionally, along with the first rent payment there will be a one-time payment equal, to the product of $125,000 times the number of months from May 1, 2019, to the renewal execution date, minus the rent previously paid for the period.
The lease may be terminated by the Tenant, as of July 31, 2024
provided that the Tenant gives the Landlord notice by April 30, 2024.

The final order and estimated times for each application will be posted on the Landmarks Preservation Commission website, the Friday before the hearing.
