MARINE ELECTRONICS AND RADIO REPAIR SERVICES FOR
THE DIVISION OF STATEN ISLAND FERRY - Negotiated Acquisition - Available only from a single source - PIN84118MBSI237
- Due 4-9-20 at 2:00 P.M.
The New York City Department of Transportation NYCDOT, intends to enter into a negotiated acquisition agreement with Mackay Communications Inc., to provide labor, material and technical services for all routine and emergency repair, maintenance and servicing of navigation and simulation equipment to facilitate safe navigation and transport of crew and passengers aboard Staten Island Ferries. There is also a need for the purchase and upgrade of software, charts and electronics including, but not limited to, ECDIS, ECS, AIS, GPS, radar, PAs, UFH and VHF radios, simulation equipment and other electronics at the Staten Island Ferry. These services are critical because it will allow the Division of Staten Island Ferry to continue maintenance, service and repairs of all Marine Electronics and related equipment installed on Staten Island ferries, boats, barges and shore installations owned and operated by NYCDOT. There is no other option to house these services. The contract term will be retroactive from 3/17/20 to 3/16/21.
