LADIES AND GENTLEMEN --I transmit herewith, together with Aldermen Lopez, Cardenas and Thompson, a congratulatory resolution regarding the Chicago Police Department.

Alderman Burke moved to Suspend the Rules Temporarily to permit immediate consideration of and action upon the said proposed resolution. The motion Prevailed.
The following is said proposed resolution:
WHEREAS, On the drizzly morning of February 2,2016, 9th District Commander Daniel J.
Godsel Star Number 470 and Sergeant Jon P. Hein Star Number 2663 of the Chicago Police Department heard a radio call announcing a burglary in progress in the 1600 block of West 38th Place; and WHEREAS, Commander Godsel and Sergeant Hein realized that the address identified in the call was nearby; and
