376.02 Collections of rural rehabilita tion loansRegional office functions Responsibility of the regional office, a The regional director, the assistant re gional director, RR, the chief of the re gional Loan and Collection section, or any delegate of the regional director within the regional office is authorized, on behalf of the Government, to execute proofs of claim and other instruments required to be executed by the Govern ment in order to establish the Govern ments claims or defenses in probate pro ceedings, proceedings under the Bank ruptcy Act and other court proceedings affecting RR loans. Such authority will be exercised only after consultation with the regional attorney. Emergency Re lief Appropriation Act, fiscal year 1941, 6 F.R. 30.

By virtue of the authority vested in the Secretary of Agriculture by the Commod ity Exchange Act, as amended 7 U.S.C.
and Sup., secs. l-17a, and as further amended by the act of Congress, approved October 9,1940 Public Law No. 818, 76th Cong., I, Paul H.
