IGNATING PREMISES AS REGULATED AREAS

Pursuant to 301.76-2 of the regula tions supplemental to the Khapra Beetle Quarantine 7 CFR 301.76-2 under sec tions 8 and 9 of the Plant Quarantine Act of 1912, as amended 7 U. S. C. 161,162, revised administrative instructions are hereby issued as follows, listing premises in which infestations of the khapra beetle have been determined to exist and designating such premises as regulated areas within the meaning of said quarantine and regulations.
301.76-2a Administrative instruc tions designating certain premises as regulated areas under the khapra beetle Quarantine and regulations, infesta tions of the khapra beetle have been determined to exist in the premises listed in paragraphs a and b of this sec tion. Accordingly, such premises are hereby designated as regulated areas within the meaning of the provisions in this subpart:

b - The portion of each of the follow ing premises in which live khapra beetles were found has received the approved fumigation treatment, but these premises must continue under frequent observa tion and inspection for a period of one year following fumigation before a deter mination can be made as to the adequacy of such treatment to eradicate the kha pra beetle in and upon such premises.
During this period regulated articles may be moved from the premises only in ac cordance with the regulations in this subpart.
