A PROCLAMATION

WHEREAS certain lands in the muicipality of Eastport, Maine, were acjired at various times by the W ar Hepartment for use as a military reser vation known as Port Sullivan; and WHEREAS the said lands, being no linger needed for military purposes, ere placed under the control of the Secretary of the Interior, by a proclama tion of the President dated July 22,1884, lor disposition in accordance with the provisions of the act of July 5, 1884, 23
tat. 103 43 U. S; C. 1071-1074; and I WHEREAS1a portion of the said lands designated as Lot 14 was reserved from iich disposition by the Secretary of the iterior because the municipality of astport had erected thereon a waterstand pipe ; and WHEREAS the said municipality of jastport is now the City of Eastport, ain e, a municipal corporation, which lias requested that the said Lot 14 be transferred to it for public use; and I WHEREAS it appears that such a ansfer would be in the public interest:

RUM AN; President of the United States under and by virtue of the auiiority vested in me by the act o f March 3, 1893, 27 Stat. 572, 593 43 U. S. C.
176, do hereby grant and transfer to tiie said City of Eastport, Maine, for pub ic use the said Lot-14, containing 1.03
wres, as shown on the map of the said ffcrt Sullivan, in Eastport, Maine, surJyed by A. W. Barber, detailed clerk of tfce General Land Office,, in November 00, a copy of which map is recorded1in tiie Washington County, Maine, Registry J Deeds ; excepting and reserving there from the following-described tract of n d for the use of the United States fe a th e r Bureau, Department of Com merce, in the operation and maintenance oj a storm-warning tower, together with B 19right of access thereto over the existg road and sidewalk:

Prom corner No. 7, Lot 14 on east line of High Street, S. 83% E. 120 feet to center of City Stand Pipe; thence S. 57% E. 65 feet to Ni E. corner of 30-ft. square Weather Bureau Warning Tower tract; thence from point o f beginning, on boundaries of said tract, south 30 feet; west 30 feet; north 30 feet; east 30
feet to N. E. corner of Warning Tower tract, containing 900 square feet.

By virtue of the authority contained in the Federal Crop Insurance Act, as amended, the Regulations for Contracts for the 1950 and Succeeding crop Years, as amended 14 F. R. 5290, 6674; 15 F. R.
4161, 6739, 9032; 16 F. R. 7695, 9301; 17
F. R. 2109, 5749, which shall continue in full force and effect for the 1952 c e o p year, are hereby amended for the 1953
and succeeding crop years to read as set forth below. The provisions of this sub part shall, until amended or superseded, apply to all continuous corn contracts as they relate to the 1953 and succeeding crop years.
