Pursuant to the Atomic Energy Act of 1946, as amended Pub. Law 585, 79th Cong.; 60 Stat. 755 if and section 4 a of the Administrative Procedure Act of 1946, as amended Pub. Law 404, 79th Cong:, additional amendments to Title 10, Chapter I, Part 30, Code of Federal Regulations, entitled Radioisotope Dis tribution, promulgated April 9, 1951, and published in Volume 16, Pages 3251
et seq. of the F ederal R egister, are set forth hereunder to be effective January 15, 1954.
1. Amend 30.2 to read as follows;
30.2 Definitions. As used in this part:
a C o m m i s s i o n . Commission means the United States Atomic Energy Commission created by the Atomic Ener gy Act of 1946, or its duly authorized representative.
b Distributor. Distributor means any person to the extent that such per son is engaged in operating Commissionowned laboratories, plants or other facilities under a contract with the Com mission and is engaged in the distribu tion of radioisotopes for the Commission.
c Fissionable material. Fissionable material means fissionable material as defined in section 5 a 1 of the Atomic Energy Act of 1946 and in the regula tions contained in Part 79 of this chapter.
d General authorization. General authorization means an authorization that is issued for the procurement of any quantity of any radioisotope of atomic number 3 to 83 for the use or uses desig nated therein.
e Human use. Human use means the internal or external administration of radioisotopes, or the radiation there from, to human beings.
f One millicurie. One millicurie means that amount of radioactive ma-, terial which disintegrates at the rate of 37 million atoms per second.
