E xtending the P rovisions o p P art I o p E xecutive O rder N o . 102101 of F ebru
ary 2,1951, to the D epartment of the I nterior
By virtue of the authority vested in me by the First War Powers Act, 1941, as amended by the act of January 12, 1951, entitled An Act to amend and ex tend title II of the First War Powers Act, 1941 Public Law 921, 81st Congress, and as President of the United States and Commander-in-Chief of the armed forces of the United States, and deeming such action will facilitate the national defense, it is hereby ordered as follows:
The provisions of Part I of Executive Order No. 10210 of February 2,1951, en titled Authorizing the Department of Defense and the Department of Com merce to Exercise the Functions and Powers Set Forth in Title II of the First War Powers Act, 1941, as Amended by the Act of January 12, 1951, and Pre scribing Regulations for the Exercise of Such Functions and Powers, are hereby extended to the Department of the Inte rior; and, subject to the limitations and regulations contained in such part, and under such regulations as he may pre scribe, the Secretary of the Interior is authorized to perform and exercise, as to the Department of the Interior, all the functions and authority vested in and granted by the said Part I to the Secre taries named therein: Provided, that regulations so prescribed by the Secre tary of the Interior need not be approved by the Secretary of Defense; And pro vided further, th at nothing contained herein shall prejudice any other author ity which the Secretary of the Interior or the Department of the Interior may have with respect to procurement.

By virtue of the authority vested in me by the Renegotiation Act of 1951 Public Law 9, 82d Congress, hereinafter re ferred to as the Act, and as President of the United States, it is ordered as follows:
1. The Bonneville Power Administra tion, which exercises functions having a direct and immediate connection with the national defense, is hereby desig nated, pursuant to subsection a of sec tion 103 of the Act, as an agency coming within the definition of the term De partment for the purposes of Title I of the Act.
2. In accordance with section 102 of the Act, the provisions of Title I of the Act shall be applicable to all contracts with the Bonneville Power Administra tion, and related subcontracts, to the extent of the amounts received or ac crued on or after the first day of Novem ber, 1951, whether such contracts or sub contracts were made on, before, or after th at date.
