Kings Highway Self-Storage 230049 ZSK
An application by Clarendon Holding Co. Inc., pursuant to Sections 197-c and 201 of the New York City Charter, for a special permit to enable a self-storage facility on an M1-1 zoned-property in the Flatlands/Fairfield Industrial Business Zone IBZ. The 73,915 sf, flag-shaped development site is situated in a Subarea 2 designated area of New York City Zoning Resolution ZR Appendix J, where self-storage facilities are required to seek a special permit from the City Planning Commission CPC, pursuant to ZR Section 74-932.
Approval would result in a five-story, Use Group UG 16D self-storage facility with 16 parking spaces, at 5381 Kings Highway, in Brooklyn Community District 17 CD 17.

PLEASE TAKE NOTICE, that in accordance with Section 201-204
inclusive of the New York State Eminent Domain Procedure Law EDPL, a public hearing, will be held by the City of New York acting by and through its Department of Design and Construction, in connection with the acquisition of properties for roadway improvements in Pratt Avenue Capital Project HWXPRATT in the Borough of Bronx the Project.

The purpose of this hearing is to inform the public of the proposed roadway acquisition, the impact on unlotted streetbed and lotted properties listed below, to review the public use to be served by the Project, and the impact on the environment and residents. The scope of this Capital Project, within the acquisition area defined herein, will include reconstruction of the roadway.
The properties proposed to be acquired are within the acquisition limits as shown on Damage and Acquisition Map 12527, dated 5/18/2021, and last revised 9/15/2022, as follows the acquisition area:
Pratt Avenue from Needham Avenue to a point located approximately 287 feet northerly therefrom;
Needham Avenue from the southerly prolongation of the westerly line of Pratt Avenue to a point located approximately 112 feet easterly therefrom; and
Block 4922, part of Lot 101
