Call To Order.
On Thursday November 8, 2012 at 9: 10 AM. the hour appointed for the meeting was 9:00 AM. the Honorable Rahm Emanuel, Mayor, called the City Council to order. The Honorable Susana A Mendoza, City Clerk, called the roll of members and it was found that there were present at that time: Aldermen Fioretti, Dowell, Burns, Hairston, Sawyer, Harris, Pope, Balcer, Cardenas, Quinn, Burke, Foulkes, Thompson, Thomas, Lane, OShea, Cochran, Brookins, Munoz, Zalewski, Chandler, Solis, Maldonado, Burnett, Ervin, Graham, Reboyras, Suarez, Waguespack, Mell, Austin, Colon, Sposato, Mitts, Cullerton, Laurino, P. OConnor, M. OConnor, Reilly, Smith, Tunney, Arena, Cappleman, Pawar, Osterman, Silverstein -- 46.

Alderman Silverstein led the City Council and assembled guests in the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag of the United States of America.

Alderman Austin opened the meeting with prayer.
