Transmitted herewith one 1 sealed bid. This bid was submitted in response to advertisement for the sale of Board of Education property located at northeast corner of 159th Street and 80th Avenue Orland Park, which was authorized by ordinance.
On motion of Alderman Banks, the bid submitted with the foregoing communication was ordered opened and read and was then i?e/erred to the Committee on Land .Acquisition a n d Disposition.
The following is a summary of said bid:
Northeast Corner of 159th Street and 80th Auenue - Orland Park.
Orland Golf View, Hartz Construction Company, Inc., 8727 W. 95th Street, Hickory Hills, Illinois 60457 and T. J. Cachey Builders, Inc., 9961 W. I51st Street, Orland Park, Illinois 60462: Amount bid $2,610,000.00, deposit check $261,000.00 certified check.
Adjournment.
Thereupon, Alderman Burke moved that the City Council do .Adjourn. The motion Prevailed and the City Council Stood .Adjourned to meet in regular meeting on Wednesday, November 13, 1985, at 10:00 A..M. in the Council Chamber in City Hall pursuant to Chapter 4, Section 4-1 ofthe Municipal Code ofChicago.
