On September 5,1953, a notice of pro posed rule making was published in the F ederal R egister 18 F. R. 5389 regard ing proposed United States Standards for Grades of Peeled Potatoes.
After consideration of all relevant matters presented, including the pro posal set forth in the aforesaid notice, the following United States Standards 1 The requirements of these standards shall not excuse failure to comply with the provi sions of the Federal Food, Drug, and Cos metic Act.
