The Commission, pursuant to author ity vested in it by the Federal Power Act, particularly section 301 a thereof, and finding such action necessary and ap propriate for carrying out the provisions of said act, hereby adopts the accom panying Regulations to Govern the Preservation of Records of Public Utili ties and Licensees and it is hereby ordered that:
A Said regulations be and the same are hereby prescribed and promulgated as the regulations governing the preser vation of records by public utilities sub ject to the jurisdiction of the Commis sion and by licensees holding licenses issued by the Commission, to the extent and in the manner set forth therein;
B Said regulations shall, as to all public utilities now subject to the juris-
