COMMISSION DELEGATED REGULATION EU 2023/1176

amending Regulation EU No 1315/2013 of the European Parliament and of the Council as regards the indicative maps of the trans-European transport network Text with EEA relevance
THE EUROPEAN COMMISSION,
Having regard to the Treaty on the Functioning of the European Union, Having regard to Regulation EU No 1315/2013 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 11 December 2013 on Union guidelines for the development of the trans-European transport network and repealing Decision No 661/2010/EU 1, and in particular Article 496 thereof, Whereas:

Regulation EU No 1315/2013 provides for the possibility to adapt the indicative maps of the trans-European transport network TEN-T of specific neighbouring countries, or add new ones, based on high-level agreements on transport infrastructure networks between the Union and the neighbouring countries concerned.

A high-level agreement as referred to in Regulation EU No 1315/2013 was signed between the Union and Ukraine on 29 June 2022. The agreement on the changes to the indicative TEN-T maps concerns the railway lines, roads, and the inclusion of inland waterways. The changes to the indicative maps should allow the Union to better target its cooperation with Ukraine.

Regulation EU No 1315/2013 should therefore be amended accordingly,
HAS ADOPTED THIS REGULATION:
Article 1
Annex III to Regulation EU No 1315/2013 is amended in accordance with the Annex to this Regulation.
Article 2
This Regulation shall enter into force on the twentieth day following that of its publication in the Official Journal of the European Union.
