Call To Order.
On Wednesday, November 14, 2018 at 10:00 AM., the Honorable Rahm Emanuel, Mayor, called the City Council to order. The Honorable Andrea M. Valencia, City Clerk, called the roll of members and it was found that there were present at that time: Aldermen Dowell, Sawyer, Mitchell, Harris, Beale, Sadlowski Garza, Thompson, Cardenas, Quinn, Burke, Lopez, Foulkes, D. Moore, OShea, Brookins, Munoz, Tabares, Scott, Solis, Maldonado, Reboyras, Santiago, Waguespack, Mell, Austin, Villegas, Sposato, Laurino, OConnor, Napolitano, Reilly, Arena, Cappleman, Osterman, Silverstein -- 35.
Quorum present.
Pledge Of Allegiance.
Alderman Austin led the City Council and assembled guests in the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag of the United States of America.
Invocation.
Pastor Donovan Price, Executive Director of PRAY Chicago and Homicide Victims Advocate, opened the meeting with prayer.
