A notice of proposed rule making cov ering issuance of United States Stand ards for Grades of Nonfat Dry Milk was published in -the F ederal R e g is t e r of April 10, 1958 23 F. R. 2349 and af forded interested persons the opportu nity to submit written data, views or arguments in connection therewith. The time for submitting data, views or argu ments was extended to May 15 23 F. R.
3133., After consideration of all rele vant matters presented,, including pro posals set forth in the aforesaid notice of rule making, the following United States Standards for Graded of Nonfat Dry Milk are hereby promulgated under the authority contained in the Agricul tural Marketing Act of 1946 60 Stat.
1087; 7 U. S. C. 1621 et seq. to become effective July 1, 1958.
These standards aro the same as pub lished under proposed rule making and will supersede the current Official United States Standards for Grades of Nonfat Dry Milk Solids, 7 CFR Part 39.
The amendment is as follows:
Delete P art 39, United States Stand ards for Grades of Nonfat Dry Milk Solids and substitute therefor new SubParts L and M of P art 58 to read as follows:

58.525 Nonfat dry milk. Nonfat dry milk is the product resulting from the removal of fat and water from milk, and contains the lactose, milk proteins, and milk minerals in the same relative proportions as in the fresh milk from which made. It contains not over 5 per cent by weight of moisture. The fat Civil Service Commission content shall not exceed 1l/z percent by Rules and regulations:
