Effective July I, 1955, paragraph a of 2.304 is amended as set out below.
2.304 Temporary renewable ap pointment. a An annuitant under the Civil Service Retirement Act who is se lected for employment under any regu lation of the Commission and who enters on duty on or after his sixtieth 60th birthday may be given a temporary re newable appointment for a period not to exceed one year. Such appointment may also be given any employee appoint ed under this section who would other wise be eligible under any regulation of the Commission for promotion, demo tion, reassignment, or transfer.
