To Amend the P rovisions of E xecutive O rder No. 8588 E ntitled P rescribing R egulations G overning the P ayment of E xpenses of T ransportation of H ousehold G o o d s and P ersonal E ffects of Certain Civilian Officers and E mployees of the U nited S tates
may be determined by consulting pub lished tariffs or by securing competitive bids, the use of either method to be con strued as being determinative of the lowest available rate for motor tra n s portation.
