TITLE 24HOUSING CREDIT
FEDERAL HOME LOAN BANK BOARD
A mendment to R ules and R egulations for the F ederal S avings and Loan S ystem providing for notice of hearings on petitions for charters to be mailed TO STATE SUPERVISORS

Be it resolved, That pursuant to au thority vested in the Federal Home Loan Bank Board by subsection a of section 5 of the Home Owners Loan Act of 1933 12 U. S. C. 1464 a the second sentence of paragraph b of sec tion 102.029 of the Rules and Regula tions for the Federal Savings and Loan System is hereby amended to read as follows:
The applicants shall promptly cause a notice in the form prescribed in para graph e of this section to be published in a newspaper printed in the English language of general circulation in the county in which the proposed Federal association will have its home office;
and the applicants shall prmptly cause a similar notice to be mailed to the State supervisor of home-fiancing insti tutions of the State in which the home office of the proposed Federal associa tion will be located.
Be it further resolved, That such amendment, being deemed to be of a
