NOTICE OF A SPECIAL JOINT PUBLIC HEARING of the Franchise and Concession Review Committee and the New York City Department of Information Technology & Telecommunications DoITT, to be held, on January 13, 2020, commencing at 2:30 P.M., at 2 Lafayette Street, 14th Floor, Borough of Manhattan, on the following calendar items:
Cal. item 1 a proposed mobile telecommunications services franchise agreement between the City of New York and Crown Castle Fiber LLC;
Cal. item 2 a proposed mobile telecommunications services franchise agreement between the City of New York and Crown Castle NG East LLC; Cal. item 3 a proposed mobile telecommunications services franchise agreement between the City of New York and Crown Castle Solutions LLC; Cal. item 4 a proposed mobile telecommunications services franchise agreement between the City of New York and CSC Wireless, LLC; Cal. item 5 a proposed mobile telecommunications services franchise agreement between the City of New York and ExteNet Systems, Inc. The proposed franchise agreements would authorize the franchisees to install, operate and maintain equipment and facilities, including base stations and access point facilities, on 1 City-Owned street light poles and traffic light poles, and certain privately-owned utility poles, located on the City streets and 2 subject to necessary further approvals, LinkNYC Kiosks, bus stop shelters and automatic public toilets, all in connection with the provision of mobile telecommunications services.
The proposed franchise agreements have a term of ten years.
A copy of the proposed franchise agreements may be viewed, at The Department of Information Technology and Telecommunications, 15 MetroTech Center, 18th Floor, Brooklyn, NY 11201, commencing January 6, 2020 through January 13, 2020, between the hours of 9:30
A.M. and 3:30 P.M., excluding Saturdays, Sundays and holidays. Hard copies of the proposed franchise agreements may be obtained, by appointment, at a cost of $.25 per page. All payments, shall be made at the time of pickup by check or money order made payable to the New York City Department of Finance. The proposed franchise agreements may also be obtained in PDF form, at no cost, by email request.
