Executive Order 12898: Federal Actions To Address Environmental Justice in Minority Populations and Low-Income Populations This action does not entail special considerations of environmental justice related issues as delineated by Executive Order 12898 59 FR 7629, February 16, 1994. Nevertheless, the revocation of the tolerances will reduce exposure to the pesticide and lead to a reduction in chlorpyrifos use on food crops. While EPA has not conducted a formal EJ analysis for this rule, the revocation of tolerances will likely reduce disproportionate impacts on EJ
communities that are impacted by chlorpyrifos applications on crops.
