NRC issued Amendment No. 299 to Renewed Facility Operating License No. DPR16 for the Oyster Creek Nuclear Generating Station Oyster Creek. The amendment consisted of revisions to the Renewed Facility Operating License and the Permanently Defueled Technical Specifications. These changes reflected the removal of all spent nuclear fuel from the spent fuel pool and its transfer to dry cask storage within an on-site Independent Spent Fuel Storage Installation ISFSI. These changes will more fully reflect the permanently shutdown status of the decommissioning facility, as well as the reduced scope of structures, systems, and components necessary to ensure plant safety now that all spent fuel has been permanently moved to the Oyster Creek ISFSI, an activity which was completed as of May 21, 2021 ADAMS Accession No. ML21160A065.
