Under authority of 6.1 a of Execu tive Order 9830, and at the request of the Secretary of Defense, the Commission has determined that six management engineering positions in the Office of the Assistant Secretary of Defense Comp troller should be excepted from the competitive service. Effective upon pub lication in the F ederal R egister , 6.104
