Multiple metal objects interference for WTMD
For WTMD, the presence of metal objects other than the threat targets described by the selected security standard should not affect the detection of a threat item as it is passing through the portal.
3.8.
Audible and visual alarms The metal detection equipment should be provided with an audible and a visual alarm. The audible alarm should be noticeable at a range of 1 meter for HHMD and at a range of 2 meters for WTMD. A visual indicator should show for the HHMD that it is in operation and for the WTMD the strength of the signal detected.
