The Committee on Ethics and Government Oversight submitted the following report:
CHICAGO, September 18, 2019
To the President and Members of the City Council
Your Committee on Ethics and Government Oversight, to which was referred an ordinance by Mayor Lori E. Lightfoot amending Section 2-56-110 of the Municipal Code of Chicago regarding authority to release confidential investigatory files and reports of lnspector General to the public, having the same under advisement, begs leave to report and recommend that Your Honorable Body Pass the proposed ordinance transmitted herewith.
This recommendation was concurred in by committee present, with no dissenting votes.
