Subsequent to the seventeenth revision, effective December 12, 1958, infestation o f the k h apra beetle was discovered on the premises o f the E. C. Fulghum Farm , 817 South A lm a School Road, M esa, A r i zona. M ovem ent o f regulated articles from this property was immediately stopped. W ith in a few days the infested premises h ad been fum igated in their en tirety and declared free of k h apra beetle infestation. Accordingly, this property is not being included in this revision.
This revision has the effect of revoking the designation as regulated areas of cer tain premises in Arizona and California, it having been determined by the D irec tor of the P la n t Pest Control Division that adequate sanitation measures have been practiced fo r a sufficient length of time to eradicate the k h apra beetle in and upon such premises. It also adds certain premises in Arizona and C a li fo rn ia to the list o f premises in which kh apra beetle infestations have been de termined to exist, and designates such premises as regulated areas under the k h apra beetle quarantine and regu la tions.
