SUBPART 1958-CROP SOYBEAN LOAN AND
PURCHASE AGREEMENT PROGRAM
A price support program has been an nounced for the 1958-crop of soybeans.
The 1958 C. C. C. Grain Price Support Bulletin 1 23 P. R. 2663 issued by the Commodity Credit Corporation and con taining the regulations of a general nature with respect to price support op erations for certain grains and other commodities produced in 1958, is supple mented as follows:

b Area. Farm-storage and ware house-storage loans and purchase agree ments will be available wherever soy beans are grown in the continental United States, except th at farm-storage loans will not be available in areas where the State committee determines that soy beans cannot be safely stored on the farm.
c Where to apply. Application for price support should be made at the of fice of the county committee which keeps the farm-program records for the farm.
d When to apply. Loans and pur chase agreements will be available from the time of harvest through January 31, 1959, and the applicable documents must be signed by the producer and delivered to the office of the county committee not later than such final date. Applicable documents include the Producers Note and Loan Agreement for warehousestorage loans, the Producers Note and Supplemental Loan Agreement and the Commodity Chattel Mortgage for farmstorage loans, and the Purchase Agree ment for purchase agreements.
e Eligible producer. An eligible pro ducer shall be an individual, partnership, association, corporation, estate, trust, or other business enterprise, or legal entity, and wherever applicable, a State, politi cal subdivision of a State, or any agency thereof producing soybeans in 1958 as landowner, landlord, tenant or share cropper.
Executors, administrators, trustees, or receivers who represent an eligible producer or his estate may qualify for price support provided th e loan or purchase agreement documents executed by them are legally valid. Two or more eligible producers may obtain a joint loan on eligible soybeans harvested by them if stored in the same farm storage facility. In the case of joint loans, each person signing the note shall be held jointly and severally responsible for the loan. Warehouse-storage loans may be made to a warehouseman who tenders to CCC warehouse receipts issued by him on soybeans produced by him only in those States where the issuance and pledge of such warehouse receipts, are valid under State Law.
