By virtue of the authority vested in me by the Constitution and the statutes of the United States, particularly by the act of October 2,1942 56 Stat. 765, and as President of the United States and Commander in Chief of the Army and Navy, the Chairman of the Securities and Exchange Commission is hereby desig nated as an additional member of the Economic Stabilization Board established by section 2 of Title I of Executive Order 9250 of October 3, 1942,1 and the said order is amended accordingly.
