Designating the H onorable M artin Travieso as A cting Judge of the D is trict Court of the U nited S tates for Puerto R ico By virtue of the authority vested in me by section 41 of the act entitled "A n Act to provide a civil government for Puerto Rico, and for other purposes, approved March 2, 1917, as amended by section 2
of the act of March 26, 1938, 52 Stat. 118
U.S.C., title 48, sec. 863, I hereby designate and authorize the Honorable Martin Travieso, Associate Justice of the Supreme Court of Puerto Rico, to per form and discharge the duties of Judge of the District Court of the United States for Puerto Rico and to sign all necessary papers and records as Acting Judge of the said Court, without extra compensa tion, during the absence, illness, or other legal disability of the Judge thereof, dur ing the current calendar year.

Schedule n is amended by deleting therefrom the following items:

Schedule I is amended by adding thereto, under the main heading Culti vators and weeders, the following item:

The effect of this amendment is to re move from the provisions of Food P ro
duction Order No. 3 the items deleted from Schedule n , with the exception of one row, riding, two horse cultivators which are incorporated in Schedule I
and therefore can be sold for use only on presentation of proper purchase cer tificates.
