By virtue of the authority vested in the Secretary of Agriculture by Title m of the Agricultural Adjustment Act of 1938

U.S.C. 1301 et s e q ., as amended, public notice is hereby given of the following amendment to the regulations governing cotton marketing quotas for the 19421943 marketing year M Q-603-Cotton, as issued by the Secretary of Agriculture on December 11, 1941, and amended by the Acting Secretary of Agriculture on June 8, 1942, which regulations shall be in force and effect until rescinded or sus pended, or amended or superseded by regulations hereafter made under said act, Section 722.4391 is hereby amended by deleting the first sentence therefrom and inserting in lieu thereof the following sentence:
The rate of penalty for the 1942-1943
marketing year shall be 8 cents per pound.
