Reference is made to D. 49196, approved October 12, 1937,1 announcing the application of section 303 o f the T ariff Act of 1930 U. S. C., title 19, sec. 1303 to certain fish from Nova Scotia.
The Bureau has received official inform ation that fish described in T. D. 49196 may be exported from Nova Scotia without the benefit o f any bounty or grant because the fish have a moisture content o f 43 per cent o r more, or because of the price received fo r th e fish. T. D. 49196 is accordingly amended by deleting from the last sentence thereof the words the dried fish are not products of Nova Scotia and that.

Whereas,, the Commissioner o f Endian Affairs has recom mended restoration to tribal ownership of all said vacant undisposed of ceded lands within the following described boundaries:
Beginning at the southeast corner of section. 36, township 47 north,, range I Y2 west o f the. New M exico principal m erid ian in Colorado; thence west on the section lines to the southeast com er o f section 35, township 47 north, range 2 west; thence north to the northeast com er of the said section 33; thence west to th e center section line o f seetion 33; thence south to the south line of said section 33; thence east to the northwest corner of section 3, township 46 north, range 2 west; thence south to the southwest corner of sec tion 3; thence east to the northwest com er of section 11;
thence south to the southwest com er of seetion 14; thence east to the southeast comer of section 13, township 46 north, range V/z west; thence north, along the township, line to the place of beginning.
Now, therefore, by virtue of the authority vested in the Secretary of the In terior by sections 3 and 7 of the Act of June 18, 1934 48 Stat. L., 984, I hereby find that restora tion to tribal ownership of all lands which are now, or may hereafter be, classified as undisposed o f ceded U te Indian lands lying within the abovedescribed boundaries in Colo rado which shall include m ineral and other rights not ac quired by entrymen within any entries perfected where the surface right only was acquired by such entrymen, w ill be in the public interest, and said lands are hereby restored to tribal ownership fo r the use and benefit o f the Confederated Bands of the U te Tribe of Indians, Colorado, subjeet to any valid existing rights.

Whereas, pursuant to the provisions of an agreement ac cepted and ratified by the A ct of June 15, 1880 21 Stat. L
199, the Confederated. Bands of the Ute T ribe o f Indians in Colorado ceded to the United States a large area of their reservation in the State o f Colorado, which area was then held and deemed to be public land o f the United States, sub ject to disposal under the laws providing fo r the disposal of public lands, except as provided in the said Act of June 15, 1880, supra, and Whereas, there are now remaining undisposed of within the said ceded area, certain tracts which, if now restored, would prove beneficial to the Confederated Bands of the Ute Tribe of Indians, because of their value fo r grazing purposes and mineral content,, and Whereas, by relinquishment and cancellation o f unper fected homestead entries within this area a lim ited addi tional acreage of land of sim ilar character may be included within the class o f undisposed of ceded land, and.
