WHEREAS it appears that it would be in the public inter est to add certain hereinafter-described lands to the Harney National Forest in South Dakota and Wyoming:
NOW, THEREFORE, I, F R A N K L IN D. ROOSEVELT, President of the United States of America, under and by virtue of the power vested in me by section 24 of the act of March 3, 1891, 26 Stat. 109?, 1103, as amended U. S. C., title 16, sec. 471, and the act of June 4, 1897, 30 Stat. 11, 34, 36 U. S. C., title 16, sec. 473, do proclaim that, subject to all valid existing rights, all lands of the United States Within the following-described areas are hereby included in and reserved as a part of the Harney National Forest, and that all lands within such areas which may hereafter be acquired by the United States for forestry purposes shall upon acquisition be reserved and administered as part of such Forest:

The reservation made by this proclamation supersedes as to any of the above-described lands affected thereby the temporary withdrawals for classification and other purposes made by Executive Orders No. 6888 of October 29, 1934, and No. 6909 of November 21, 1934.
