1A11 600, CL6002A12 601, and CL6002B16 6013A, 6013R, and 604 Variants airplanes. You may examine the MCAI in the AD docket on the internet at https

The FAA issued a notice of proposed rulemaking NPRM to amend 14 CFR
part 39 by adding an AD that would apply to all Bombardier, Inc., Model CL6001A11 600, CL6002A12
601, and CL6002B16 6013A, 601
3R and 604 Variants airplanes. The NPRM published in the Federal Register on March 17, 2021 86 FR
14551. The NPRM was prompted by reports of corrosion on the passenger door internal structure of in-service airplanes caused by an accumulation of moisture under the epoxy ramp. The NPRM proposed to require revising the existing maintenance or inspection program, as applicable, to incorporate new or more restrictive airworthiness limitations. The FAA is issuing this AD
to address corrosion on the passenger door internal structure and consequent loss of the structural integrity of the forward passenger door. See the MCAI
for additional background information.
Comments The FAA gave the public the opportunity to participate in developing this final rule. The FAA received no comments on the NPRM or on the determination of the cost to the public.
Conclusion The FAA reviewed the relevant data and determined that air safety and the public interest require adopting this

final rule as proposed, except for minor editorial changes. The FAA has determined that these minor changes:
Are consistent with the intent that was proposed in the NPRM for addressing the unsafe condition; and Do not add any additional burden upon the public than was already proposed in the NPRM.
