E. Risk of Suicide Section 201q8 of the Act directs the Secretary to determine by regulation the degrees of risk of suicide using health, environmental and historical risk factors enumerated in section 201q8Aiiii. Section 201q8
also provides that the Secretary may, through regulation, establish a process for determining the degrees of risk of suicide for use by grant recipients to focus the delivery of suicide prevention services.
