Federal Register / Vol. 86, No. 33 / Monday, February 22, 2021 / Notices Section 7f of the United States Grain Standards Act USGSA authorizes the Secretary to designate a qualified applicant to provide official services in a specified area after determining that the applicant is better able than any other applicant to provide such official services 7 U.S.C. 79f. Under section 7g of the USGSA, designations of official agencies are effective for no longer than five years, unless terminated by the Secretary, and may be renewed according to the criteria and procedures prescribed in section 7f of the USGSA.

In the designation process, we are particularly interested in receiving comments citing reasons and pertinent data supporting or objecting to the designation of the applicants. SUPPLEMENTARY INFORMATION: A notice seeking comments on proposed changes to mycotoxin test kit criteria was published in the Federal Register at 85
FR 82427 on December 18, 2020. The original 30-day comment period provided in the notice closed on January 19, 2021. As of January 11, 2020, four stakeholders submitted comments requesting an extension of the comment period. AMS is reopening the comment period to ensure that interested persons have sufficient time to review and comment on the notice. The comment period is reopened for 30 days from the date of publication of this notice.
