By virtue of the authority vested in me by section 611 of the act entitled "An Act to expedite the provision of housing in connection with national defense, and for other purposes, approved October 14, 1940, as amended, and having deter mined, after considering the needs of national defense and the effect of the extension provided for herein upon the general housing situation and the na tional economy, that such extension is in the public interest, it is ordered as follows:
The time stipulated in section 313 of the said act approved October 14, 1940, as amended, within which, subject to the qualifications stated in the said sec tion 313, housing of a temporary char acter under the jurisdiction of the Housing and Home Finance Administra tor and constructed under certain laws must be removed is hereby extended from December 31, 1952, to July 1, 1954.
