Under authority of 6.1 a of Execu tive Order No. 9830, and at the request of the Secretary of Agriculture, the Com mission has determined that the posi tions of Manager, Assistant Manager and two Members of the Board of Di rectors of the Federal Crop Insurance Corporation should be excepted from the competitive service and that the period during which loss adjusters might be employed by the. Federal Crop In surance Corporation should be increased from 120 to 180 working days a year.
Effective upon publication in the F ederal R egister 6.4 a 9 is amended in per tinent part as follows:
