P art 295 D isposal op S urplus A gricul tural C ommodities for E xport TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF COTTON SALES FOR
EXPORT PROGRAM

In order to relieve exporters from pay ing 10 cents per pound liquidated dam ages, in certain cases where cotton is shipped to Canada or Mexico by rail and is destroyed after title has passed to the foreign buyer, Commodity Credit Cor poration is issuing the following amend ment to its Terms and Conditions of Cot ton Sales for Export Program 9 F.R.
13795:
Paragraph 12 is amended by adding the following subparagarph c :

and the exporter shall have no rights hereunder with respect to the cotton so destroyed.
In any such case, the New Orleans R e gional Office of Commodity Credit Corpo ration must be notified of the destruction of the cotton and the number of the reg istered sale, and the exporter shall fur nish such proof of destruction as the Corporation may require.
