HANDLING OF M ILK

Order amending the order, as amended, regulating the handling of milk in the Fall River, Massachusetts, marketing area.
Findings and Determinations Findings. Pursuant to Public Act No.
10, 73d Congress May 12, 1933, as amended and as reenacted and amended by the Agricultural Marketing Agree ment Act of 1937, as amended herein after referred to as the act , and the rules of practice and procedure covering the formulation of marketing agree ments and milk orders 7 CFR, Cum.

2815, a public hearing was held upon certain proposed amendments to the ten tatively approved marketing agreement and to the order, as amended, regulating the handling of milk in the Fall River, Massachusetts, marketing area. Upon the basis of evidence introduced in such hearing and the record thereof, it is hereby found that:
1. The order regulating the handling of milk in the said marketing area, as amended and as hereby amended, will tend to effectuate the declared policy of the act;
2. The prices calculated to give milk produced for sale in said marketing area a purchasing power equivalent to the purchasing power of such milk, as de termined pursuant to sections 2 and 8 e of the act, are not reasonable in view of the price of feeds, available? supplies of feeds, and other economic conditions which affect market supplies of and de mand for such milk. The minimum prices specified in the said order, as amended and as hereby further amended, are such prices as will reflect the afore said factors, insure a sufficient quantity
of pure and wholesome milk, and be in CONTENTS
