California, conveyed to the United States Amending E xecutive O rder No. 8970 of by the City of Alameda, California, and D ecember 11, 1941, E stablishing Cer placed such land under the jurisdiction tain D efensive S ea Areas and control of the Department of Agri By virtue of the authority vested in culture; and WHEREAS jurisdiction over such land me by section 44 of the Criminal Code, as amended U. S. C., title 18, sec. 96,. was transferred to the Federal Works and as President of the United States, Agency by Reorganization Plan No. I;1
it is ordered that section 4 of Executive and WHEREAS the President by Executive Order No. 8970 of December 11, 1941
