CONTRACT PROVISIONS
By virtue of the authority vested in the Federal Crop Insurance Corporation by the Federal Crop Insurance Act, ap proved February 16, 1938, as amended, the 1942 Cotton Crop Insurance Regula tions are amended as follows:
Section 411.231 of said regulations is amended to read as follows:
411.23 Indemnities subject to all provisions of insurance contract. In demnities payable to any person shall be subject to all the provisions of the in surance contract, including the right of the Corporation to deduct from any such indemnity the unpaid amount of the note of the original insured for the pay ment of the earned premium: Provided, however, That in case of a transfer of an interest in an insured crop, such deduction to be made from an indemnity payable to the transferee shall not ex ceed the premium due on the interest in the crop so transferred. Any indem nity payable to any person other than the original insured as a result of trans fer, or otherwise, shall be subject to any collateral assignment of the insurance contract by the original insured.

Reissuance of Conservation Order M-267 issued by War Production Board.
Pursuant to the authority vested in me by Executive Order No. 9280, dated De cember 5, 1942, and to assure an ade quate supply and efficient distribution of butter to meet war and essential civilian needs, It is hereby ordered as follows:
1401.12 Butter, set aside for require ments of governmental agenciesa Definitions. When used in this regula tion, unless otherwise distinctly ex pressed or manifestly incompatible with the intent thereof:

issued by Ernest Kanzler, Director Gen eral for Operations, on November 20, 1942, with respect to butter, and desig nated as Conservation Order M-267.
2 The term butter means butter as defined in the act of March 4, 1923, Chapter 268, 42 Stat. 1500, U. S. C. Title 21, section 6.
3 The term warehouses in the 35
cities means the cold storage warehouses which reported their weekly butter stocks from October 30, 1942, through November 20, 1942, to the Agricultural Marketing Administration of the United States Department of Agriculture, which warehouses are located in or near the following cities: New York Metropolitan Area; Chicago, Illinois; Philadelphia, Pennsylvania; Boston, Massachusetts;
Buffalo, New York; Lowville, New York;
Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania; Detroit, Mich igan; Cleveland, Ohio; Milwaukee, Wis consin; Plymouth, Wisconsin; Marsh field, Wisconsin; Green Bay, Wisconsin;
