SUGAR CONSUMPTION REQUIREMENTS AND
QUOTAS FOR THE CALENDAR YEAR 1941

Pursuant to the authority conferred upon the Secretary of Agriculture under the Sugar Act of 1937, as amended, the following regulations are hereby pre scribed, which shall have the force and effect of law and shall remain in force and effect until amended or superseded by regulations hereafter made by the Secretary of Agriculture:
821.221 Consumption requirements for 1941. It is hereby determined, pur suant to section 201 of the Sugar Act of 1937, as amended hereinafter referred to as the act, that the amount of sugar needed to meet the requirements of consumers in the continental United States for the calendar year 1941 is 7,627,563 short tons of sugar, raw value.
