In the Matter of Kulin Waste Co. Er roneously Referred to in the Complaint as Kulin Waste Co., In c ., a Corpora tion and Louis Kulin, Abraham Knlin, and Michael Silver, Individually and as Officers of Said Corporation This proceéding was heard by a hear ing examiner on the complaint of the Commission charging manufacturers in Worcester, Mass., with violating the Wool Products Labeling Act by identify ing woolen stocks which contained sub stantial quantities of reprocessed or reused wool, as 90% wool, 5% rayon, and 5% other fibers in invoices and shipping memoranda.
After acceptance of an agreement containing a consent order as to all but one individual respondent, the hearing examiner made his initial decision and order to cease and desist which became on October 18 the decision of the Com mission.
The order to cease and desist is as follows:
It is ordered, That the respondents, Kulin Waste Co. erroneously referred to in the complaint as Kulin Waste Co., Inc. , a corporation ; and its officers, and Louis Kulin and Abraham Kulin, individ ually and as officers of said corporation, and respondents agents, representatives, and employees, directly or through any corporate or other device, in connection with the introduction or manufacture for introduction into commerce, or the offer ing for sale, sale, transportation or dis tribution in commerce, as commerce is defined in the Federal Trade Commission Act and the Wool Products Labeling Act of 1939, of wool stock or other wool prod ucts, as such products are defined m and subject to the Wool Products Labe ing Act of 1939, which products contain, purport to contain or in any way ysfil represented as containing wool, r processed wool, or reused wool , those terms are defined in said Act, forthwith cease and desist from mi branding such products by :
1. Falsely or deceptively stamping tagging, labeling or otherwise identity such products as to the character amount of the constituent fibers tained or included therein ;
