This document is issued to proclaim the commercial corn-prpducing area for 1957
Pursuant to sections 301 b 4 and 327
of the Agricultural Adjustment Act of 1938, as amended.
b In making the determinations contained in 721.802, the corn acreage estimates of the Agricultural Marketing service formerly Bureau of AgriculrPralr,Economics and the statistics of the Bureau of the Census relating to numbers of farms and acreage of farm
land were used, adjusted where necessaiy to reflect the difference in the défi ai1 0 farm used by the Commodity stabilization Service and the Agriculural Conservation Program Service from 7 f the Bureau of the Census.
