1. The low frequency range procedures prescribed in 609.6 are amended to read in part:
NoTras: Where the general classification LFR, VAR, ADF, ILS, GCA, or VOR, location, and procedure number if any of any procedure in the amendments which follow, are identical with an existing procedure, that procedure is to be substituted for the existing one, as of the effective date given, to the extent that it differs from the existing procedure;
where a procedure is canceled, the existing procedure is revoked; new procedures are to be placed in appropriate alphabetical sequence within the section amended.
The standard instrument approach procedure alterations appearing hereinafter are adopted to become effective when indicated in order to promote safety.
Compliance with the notice, procedures, and effective date provisions of section 4 of the Administrative Procedure Act would be impracticable and contrary to the public interest, and therefore is not required.
Part 609 is amended as follows:
