Pursuant to section 14 d o f the Fed eral Reserve Act, and for the purpose o f adjusting discount rates with, a view to accommodating commerce and business in accordance with other related rates and the general credit situation of the country, 224.6, relating to tlje rates to financing institutions under section 13b of the Federal Reserve Act, is amended so as to change the percentage rate on commitments fo r the Federal Reserve Bank o f Minneapolis from Yt-IV to V2- l% , effective July 3, 1953.
For the reasons and good cause found as stated in 224.7, there is no notice, public participation, or deferred effective date in connection with this action.

through 8 , respectively.
